Story

There are two condor-shaped corbels at the entrance of the Main Building of Facutly of Engineering, which is one of representative modern buildings of the Kyushu University Hakozaki Campus. The corbels are made with yellow Tatsuyama-ishi stone. Each of these corbles sizes of 130cm height and 116cm width. Recent research revealed that the same bird has been designed on ornaments of the Main Gate of the Maidashi Campus (Hospital and Medical, Dental, and Pharmaceutical Schools).
