Contract process

MMC user registration

  1. 0Access the website of the Material Management Center. (https://mmc-u.jp/)
  2. 1Click on "English" at upper right of the window.
  3. 2Click on "User Registration" (blue green) in the upper right.
  4. 3Click on "Participating Universities' Researcher" (orange). (not "General User")
  5. 4Check the terms of use and click "Agree".
  6. 5Enter your email address (twice) and click "Confirm".
  7. 6Click the URL in the email you will receive.
  8. 7Enter your information and click "Confirm".
  9. 8Click "Register" to complete user registration.

Application for reception of material

  1. 0Login the Material Management Center website. (https://mmc-u.jp/)
  2. 1Click "Application for Material Transfer" the fourth item from the left in the orange banner at the top of the homepage.
  3. 2Select "Application for Incoming Material Transfer" (4th from the top) in the orange banner at the top of the website "Application for Material Transfer".
  4. 3Select "New Incoming Material Transfer" button (light blue)
  5. 4Enter the information about the materials you receive.
    Note: For "Sending of documents (contract)" box, please choose "send by e-mail" and send it to the MMC office (mta@mmc.kyushu-u.ac.jp).
  6. 5If you have any special request, please describe in the "Remarks column".

Application for provision of material

  1. 0Login the Material Management Center website. (https://mmc-u.jp/)
  2. 1Select "Application for Outgoing Material Transfer" (3rd from the top) in the 4th icon in the orange banner at the top of the website "Application for Material Transfer".
  3. 2Select "New Outgoing Material Transfer" (green icon) under the "Application for Outgoing Material Transfer: Library List"
  4. 3From the list of materials you registered, click the checkbox (Outgoing Material) to the left of the row of the material you wish to provide, then click "Provide chosen material"
  5. 4Fill out the conditions the recipient shall follow to use your material
  6. 5if you finish, click "Confirm" (Data with red asterisks are required.)
  7. 6After confirming the information, click "Register"

Registration of your materials

  1. 0Login the Material Management Center website. (https://mmc-u.jp/)
  2. 1Select "Material Registration" (2nd from the top) in the 4th icon in the orange banner at the top of the website "Application for Material Transfer".
  3. 2Select "New Material Registration" (orange icon) under the "Material Registration: Library List"
  4. 3Fill out the information of your material (if you have any questions, in particular, intellectual property, or the third party's right, please contact me.)
  5. 4If you finish, click "Confirm" (Data with red asterisks are required.)
  6. 5If the data is OK in the confirmation screen, click "Registration" at the bottom of the screen to complete your registration.
