Kyushu University [Material Management Center] (the "Center") respects the personal information provided on this website (this "Site") by our customers (the "Users"), and takes every measure to protect the privacy of the Users. We handle the personal information of the Users provided on this Site in accordance with the following policies to thoroughly protect the privacy of the Users, and manage such personal information appropriately.

The Center utilizes the personal information of the Users in the delivery of the materials to the Users and in the management of the Users by the Center.

The Center prevents the leakage or loss of, or damage to, the personal information of the Users, appoints a person responsible for managing the personal information, and takes necessary and appropriate measures to control the security of the personal information.

The personal information of the User will not be provided to any third party without the consent of the User except to delivery service personnel who need to know such information for the performance of their duties.
The personal information of the User may be provided, however, without the consent of the User, in the following instances where the provision of personal information is: (i) based on laws and regulations; (ii) necessary for the protection of the life, body, or property of an individual, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the User; (iii) especially necessary for improving public health or maintaining the sound growth of children, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the User; or (iv) necessary to cooperate with the court, police or any other public agency in executing its affairs, and obtaining the consent of the User is likely to impede in the execution of those affairs.
